Hi All

Saturday 8th June:

Guy off to a night of Mahjong with the girls.

Sunday 9th June:

After work (3:00pm) Guy picked me up and we drove into the city to pick up Jason and Mike who are over for the long weekend. Back to Dee Why and as it was Mike’s birthday last Thursday we just had to have a cake to celebrate.

A very nice Mango cheesecake was the order of the day.

Monday 10th June:

I dropped Jordan off at work at 10:00am after a driving lesson starting at 9:00am.

Back home and the boys and us walked to Dee Why beach for brunch. Being a fine sunny day and a public holiday the cafes were packed. We finally found one with a table for four and had the best eggs Benedict ever.

After brunch we went for a walk down to the baths and round the rocks to enjoy the sunshine. It was cool but nice out of the breeze in the sun.

Back home and after an afternoon rest we dropped Jas and Mike at the airport at 6:00pm for their 8:00pm flight back to Adelaide.

Tuesday 11th June:

Guy’s first day at work today and my “Saturday” (Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s off). I put the washing out on the balcony in the sunshine to dry, vacuumed and did a run to Aldi for some supplies.

After a leisurely lunch I went for a walk down to the beach, as it is a glorious day.

Guy had a great first day at work. The job is what she expected and some and all her old work practices came flooding back.

I cooked up our first lamb roast in 3.5 years with carrots and potatoes and man it was good.

Wednesday 12th June:

Guy and I are now well and truly back into work mode once again. We have started ironing work cloths once again (After 3.4 years of no ironing).

Life is good.

Trevor & Guy
