Tuesday 7th October:
On my beach walk today I rounded this little headland to find this romantic setting on the beach of a walkway with a table, candles and picnic hamper but nobody around. I took a couple of pics then round the corner came a couple.
He went down on one knee and the rest was history (She obviously said yes).
You never know what you will find on Dee Why Beach.
Wednesday 8th October:
On my walk today I went bush. I got off the track and explored the bush looking for interesting thing to photograph when I came upon one of the local kids “drug dens”.
They had built this little shanty complete with table, chairs, roof and bongs. I snapped a few quick pics and made my way out. There was nobody around so all good.
Thursday 9th October:
Arrived at work today and no Internet. We were able to use our retail sales software but everything else was down. Even our EFTPOS was offline.
Luckily we had a portable EFTPOS machine so were able to process credit cards during the day.
We felt helpless, as you don’t realize how much you rely on access to the outside world.
Sunday 26th October:
Started packing for Las Vegas. We are all off to Vegas on Thursday for Jo & Dave’s wedding.
Jo, Dave, Zali and Jordan leave Thursday morning, whereas Guy and I leaving Thursday night. We are going via Hawaii as we are stopping over on our way home in Hawaii for a few days R&R.
Life is good.
