Thursday 1st September:
Arrived at work today and discovered I had missed the big Police drug raid on the drug residence next door. The residents are now in jail after the police discovered drugs and loads of stolen property on the site.
This afternoon an excavator and large skip bin arrived to flatten the site and remove all the rubbish. The residences had turned the site into a hoarders’ paradise.
Saturday 3rd September:
Well after 9 large skip bins of rubbish removed over the last three days the site is bare. No more drug house.
Friday 16th September:
First world issue:
Used up our Internet data monthly allowance and it slowed to a crawwwwllll.
Quick call to Internode and now have unlimited data…… But not for 8 more days.
Damn, still got to purchase a data block to get us through…
Also while I was talking to the support guy at Internode we discovered that we knew each other in our younger days.
He grew up in Port Lincoln and I spent many days there in my misspent youth.
Tuesday 28th September:
Caught up with my nieces today. Jacki (Lives in Sydney) and Mel, Brownie, Jet & Mateya (Lives near Narrogin in WA). Had a wander round the harbor and caught up on family news.
Mel and family are here for a week-ish then driving back to WA via Bathurst and the Bathurst 1000 V8 race. Quite an adventure for them all.
Monday 3rd October:
Guy and I off on a road trip up to Lawson in the Blue Mountains (2 hours drive) to see our great friend Lisa. She has just moved up to live in the mountains from Summer Hill in Sydney. So quite a change for her. But she loves it.
Awesome pizza for lunch was had by all along with a good old chinwag catching up.
Tuesday 4th October:
My new Fuji XT2 has arrived so a quick trip bus into downtown Sydney to pick it up. Spent the rest of the day playing and setting it up. It is a complex little beast.
Life is good.
